FAQ
Frequently asked questions about ReimburseOps — data security, supported formats, audit speed, and more.
Is my data secure?
Yes. Your CSV files are uploaded over HTTPS and stored on our servers only for the duration of processing. We do not share, sell, or use your data for any purpose other than running your audit. You can delete your data at any time from your account.
What CSV formats are supported?
ReimburseOps accepts standard .csv files with UTF-8 encoding and comma delimiters. A header row is required. The most common format is the reimbursement report downloaded directly from Amazon Seller Central — it works out of the box. See the CSV Format Guide for full details.
How long does an audit take?
Most audits complete in under 10 seconds. Processing time depends on file size — a typical 90-day reimbursement report with a few thousand rows finishes almost instantly. You’ll see a progress indicator while the audit runs.
Is the sourcing cost CSV required?
No. You can run an audit with just your reimbursement CSV. ReimburseOps will still apply the Missing Cost, Inconsistent Valuation, and Cost Definition Warning rules.
However, the Under Reimbursed rule — which detects cases where Amazon paid you less than your product cost — requires cost data to function. This is often where the biggest recovery opportunities are. We recommend uploading cost data if you have it.
How does the priority score work?
Each flagged record receives a priority score based on two factors:
- Severity — high-severity flags (like missing cost or large under-reimbursements) score higher
- Dollar impact — flags involving larger dollar amounts score higher
The result list sorts by priority score by default, so the most actionable items appear first. Focus on the top of the list for the highest return on your time.
Do I need a Pro plan to export results?
Yes. CSV export is a Pro-only feature. The free plan lets you view the first 10 flagged records in the app, which is enough to evaluate the tool. But to download a full action list for filing cases in Seller Central, you’ll need Pro.
Can I re-run audits with updated data?
Yes. Upload new CSVs anytime and run a fresh audit. If you’ve updated your sourcing costs or downloaded a more recent reimbursement report from Amazon, just upload the new files and run again. On the Pro plan, all your past audit runs are saved in your history.
What Amazon marketplaces are supported?
ReimburseOps works with reimbursement reports from any Amazon marketplace (US, EU, JP, etc.). The auto-mapper recognizes common column header variations across marketplaces. If your headers aren’t recognized automatically, you can map them manually during the confirmation step.
